When you make mistakes, you’re learning, living, pushing yourself, changing yourself and most importantly, growing yourself.

One would be foolish to think that someone can get away with achieving success if they didn’t make any mistakes. We would all be clueless without them!

Firstly, look around you. Everything you see in your physical world is the result of someone trying something new.

We wouldn’t have any of the resources or material things we have today such as our cars or phones if it weren’t for people who took the chance to try something completely ‘out of the norm’.

Can you imagine how many mistakes were made before they were able to perfect them and make it available to the market?

Lots of them!

My point here is that making mistakes is crucial towards achieving anything in life. In order to achieve great things, you need to get out of what’s comfortable to you and gain new experiences.

And whether you like it or not, every experience you go through comes setbacks and having to deal with mistakes. The more you deal with them, the more you learn and grow.

Yet somewhere along the way, mistakes get a bad rep.

Most people beat themselves up when making a mistake and tell themselves they’re not good enough.

Have you ever beaten yourself up for making a mistake before?

I sure have.

It’s in our human nature to feel disappointed and embarrassed when you make a mistake, we’re only human!

But what makes you think that those people who’ve reached high levels of success haven’t felt the same way?

Everyone around us makes mistakes.

What I came to realise is that those who’ve reached success have reached them because they had picked themselves up, they shook it off and understood that they’ve just learned a valuable lesson that will sustain them for the rest of their lives.

So if you find yourself at this current moment in time making mistakes that are making you feel a little down…PICK YOURSELF UP AND SHAKE IT OFF!

Tell yourself that EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE OKAY, because you came out of it having overcome it, learning from it and becoming a better, happier, smarter, braver and stronger person because of it 🙂

Therefore don’t be afraid to start a new venture and gain new experiences that can lead you to your personal success.

You are able to achieve everything you dream of. Just dare to take action.
