I would say that happiness is mostly a matter of appropriate perception of the reality that surrounds you, but not only.

It is also the effect of certain specific activities, that you can enter in your everyday schedule.

There are a whole bunch of different things that you can regularly do to enrich your life. Let me give you a few examples:

List of gratitude.

The idea is simple – each day for five minutes think of everything you are grateful for that day and write it down.

Memorise even the simplest situations, the smile of a stranger, a tasty lunch or a comfortable place on the bus.

Planning.

Every day, take a few minutes to plan the next day. Write on the piece of paper what exactly you have to do. Once a week, plan a list of things to do for the upcoming week.

Do sports.

Happiness starts in your brain when dancing endorphins (hormones of happiness) are making you feel just great.

Each physical exercise is a source of emitted endorphins, so take care of it, and bring a lot of it to your life. Even a few sit-ups when you wake up is a great idea!

Do something new every day.

Try a new food, take a different route to work, read the article on a topic that you were never interested in before. Each day one new thing. It’s a good way to diversify your life and stimulate the brain that by making new connections between neurones will learn creativity.

Give happiness to others.

Give a smile, helping hand or a brief conversation.

Share your concern, give a compliment, say thank you.

Everything you give comes back to you, often doubled.

Let this be an integral part of your way of creating relationships with others.

Regularly cleanse your mind from unnecessary thoughts by bringing peace and harmony into your life. Start practising meditation.

I can honestly say that all these methods work perfectly for me. They all are part of my perfect lifestyle.
